Henkie op avontuur in Wildlands

The story of this book is about Henkie, a Prairie Dog who lives in Wildlands and takes a journey through the zoo. It’s a book for children about the zoo and the animals to educate them in a fun and adventurous story.

For this book illustration project I worked together with Maartje Jongen and the staff of Wildlands Zoo. I have known Maartje since I was little and we’ve work together in the past. She works at Wildlands Zoo as caretaker and at the beginning of 2022 she asked me if I wanted to make illustrations for this book project she was asked to write.
